The Editing Shortcut is a step-by-step CapCut and Canva course designed to help you turn your footage and ideas into finished reels and carousels. It includes short video lessons, practical examples, editing resources and a live workshop.
Is The Editing Shortcut included in the Storytelling Content Challenge?
No. The Editing Shortcut is a separate, optional product for anyone who wants additional, hands-on editing support.
The Storytelling Content Challenge already includes the basic editing guidance you need to complete the challenge. Nothing is missing. The Editing Shortcut goes deeper into CapCut and Canva features, effects and workflows.
Do I need to be part of the Storytelling Content Challenge to purchase this?
For the first launch, yes. The Editing Shortcut has been created exclusively for the Storytelling Content Challenge community. It may become available more widely in the future.

When will I get access to the course?
The full course will unlock in your Creator College account after the live workshop on September 2.
You may see locked or “coming soon” cards before then. This is expected and does not mean there is a problem with your purchase.
When is the live workshop?
The live workshop takes place on September 2 at 12 PM EDT and will last approximately two hours.

What happens during the live workshop?
Jun, Alex and Genevieve will build a reel and a carousel in real time. You can bring your own footage, follow along and ask your editing questions during the session.
Do I have to attend the workshop live?
No. The workshop will be recorded and added to your Creator College account after the session.
Will I have access to the workshop replay?
Yes. The workshop replay is included, and you’ll have lifetime access to it.

Is this suitable for beginners?
Yes. The course begins with setup, app walkthroughs and the complete editing workflow before moving into individual tools and effects. Lessons are short and designed to be followed step by step.
I’ve never used CapCut or Canva. Will I be able to follow along?
Yes. The course starts with the foundations and shows you what to click, how to use each feature and how it applies to real content examples.
Do I need CapCut Pro?
No. The free version of CapCut is enough for the techniques taught in the course. The lessons will highlight where CapCut Pro may be helpful, but the core course is not locked behind it.
Can I complete the course at my own pace?
Yes. The course is made up of short lessons that you can pause, replay and revisit whenever you need them.
How long will I have access?
You’ll receive lifetime access to the course, workshop recording and future updates.
